For as long as he can remember, 17-year-old Qin Jing, with his fiery red hair, has lived by one rule: never fall in love. Cursed so that anyone he loves will meet a terrible fate, he has built walls around his heart. But his quiet, solitary life is shattered on the first day of school when he meets Qi Yu, a transfer student who seems to be a magnet for misfortune. On the surface, Qi Yu is just a hapless heir to a family of exorcists. In truth, he carries the weight of a life-or-death mission: to mend his own broken fate. As the vibrant, athletic Qin Jing and the unlucky, spiritually-gifted Qi Yu find themselves thrust together, they must navigate a series of chilling supernatural events at their school. In doing so, they begin to unravel a profound and inescapable bond...
