Xie Yangyang grew up with the three young masters of the Prime Minister’s Manor, agreeing to pick a suitor through a hydrangea‑ball toss. Yet the three, charmed by maid Hua Yan, all failed to show up on the big day.Crushed, she saw Crown Prince Duan Jinghong — concealing his identity — catch the ball, vowing to wed her in ten days. Her three childhood friends thought she was just playing hard‑to‑get. Manipulated by Hua Yan, they kept wounding her. Only when the prince arrived with the imperial edict did they realize their wrongs, consumed by regret.Unknown to all, this was Duan Jinghong’s long‑planned plot to marry Xie Yangyang.
