Selena and Apollo, labeled the Twins of Prophecy, grow up together. Selena risks her life saving Apollo from assassination, but her stepsister Viola steals all the credit. Reduced to a substitute lover and suffering great harm including the loss of her child, Selena is heart‑broken. She swaps marriage contracts and weds the sleeping Hades, Lord of the Underworld. The wedding ring awakens Hades, and they fall in love. When the truth comes out, Apollo repents and chases her desperately, yet Selena has become Queen of the Underworld and embraces her new life.
