To protect Eros, Psyche feigns betrayal with his best friend Zephyrus, breaking Eros‘s heart. Six years later, Eros returns to find Psyche a lone temple mender raising their son Voluptas. As lies unravel, Psyche’s “curse” is revealed as Aphrodite‘s poison. Truth triumphs: Aphrodite is punished, and the family is reunited.
